Why is Graduation Photography with Oh Dear Studio one-of-a-kind?

We shoot with a unique blend of natural light & studio light. Tastefully decorated with vintage furnitures, our heritage colonial-shophouse is chic and beautiful. We explore and shoot a wide range of different angles. Full greenery pictures are available during your indoor studio session (on our rooftop). No additional charges!

How long is each Graduation Photoshoot?

Choose between our Lite or Premium Collection. We will be taking different variations such as full family, individual graduation solo, casual family photos and corporate profile for the graduate etc etc!

What time should I arrive for my shoot?

Arriving on time is the best. If you would like to reach earlier, kindly arrive no more than 15mins early. The studio do have back-to-back sessions, we do not allow entry when there are shoots on-going.

Do you provide Graduation Gown?

Yes.
*Gown note:* 👩🏻‍🎓 Graduation gowns only available upon 1week advance request. (Gowns NOT store in studio)
👩🏻‍🎓 We do not have “all the gowns from all schools“. They are plain black graduation gowns. Not from any specific schools.

I don’t wear contact lens, can I wear glasses?

Yes of course you can wear your glasses. However, glasses are reflective and under certain lightings, the reflection from your glasses might “block” your eyes. Do note reflections are not possible to photoshop away.

Do you provide props?

Our photography style is minimalist and real. We prefer to focus on the subject (you!), the expressions and the interaction between family members. We capture real emotions and smiles. Props are kept to a minimum to prevent over-crowding.

However, if there are any personalised props which you would like to have in your picture, (for example: balloons or your favourite bear), feel free to bring them along!

Are shoes required?

Yes, appropriate footwear is encouraged. If you are wearing formal, formal footwear will be necessary. However, if you prefer casual outfits, sandals or going bare-feet will look nice.

How many outfits should I prepare?

Do prepare 2 different sets of coordinated outfits. We suggest a set of formal or a set of smart-casual and lastly, casual!

How many settings will there be?

For a 1 hour photoshoot, we will typically look at around 4 different settings. See the different pictures we can achieve from just one session!

Can I bring my pets along?

Oh Yes! We are pet-lovers here and our studio is pet-friendly. So do include your furkids for your graduation photoshoot!

Is your package inclusive of canvas or prints?

We believe in full flexibility. Our packages are inclusive of only soft copies. Hardcopy prints are additional options. See full details of rates here!

Are the soft copies photoshopped?

All Soft copies return will be professionally colour-corrected with signature warm toning. Ready to print or post (As you see on my social medias) Just no further retouching on humans, Eg slimming/ airbrushing. These are not inclusive.

All hardcopy display printed with us will be Fully Retouched (photoshopped)

Do you provide makeup?

Our style is unposed, natural and candid. Natural lighting will naturally soften any lines. So your daily makeup is good enough.
However, should you prefer professional help, Professional Makeup is available at $180/pax, inclusive of 1x Hair styling & 1x Makeup. My artist will travel over to your place prior to your shoot for your makeup session.

How long in advance do I have to book?

There are very limited slots each day, and weekends are the most popular. Do book with us at least 4 weeks in advance if you need a weekend. Sometimes, slots may free up in the last minute though, so do not hesitate to check in with us on your preferred date and timing. You never know!

Which timing is the best for Graduation photoshoot?

Our studio is sun kissed all day round, anytime is a good time as long as there’s natural light. We typically operate 10AM – 6PM. Or just let us know your preferred timing and we will arrange for you!
