Full disclosure, I was pretty nervous when I knew there was going to be a prize ceremony for the Entrepreneur 100 Award I was awarded. It was going to be a full red carpet event at the prestige Marina Bay Sand! Receiving the award was truly an honour and it reinforced my passion for being a family photographer.

A quick run-through of what went down that evening, I had my hair & makeup done. Couldn’t say I enjoyed it, as it’s not really my thing. My pillar of support, my soulmate was with me every step of the way, as always. The night was pretty fun with lots of networking opportunities and meeting many other driven entrepreneurs, which was very inspiring. (And also people-watching. Everyone was so glamourous!)

Not that anyone’s asking for a speech from me (haha) but running a business, juggling motherhood, and pursuing a passion all at once is not easy. There are definitely when I am burned out from demands on both sides, where I simply felt not enough.
A photographer’s job is so much more than simply photography. Juggling enquires, culling photos, retouching, marketing, scheduling etc, every single step is crucial in maintaining Good Customer Service.
