Modern fathers are participating more in the daily lives of their children. A generation ago, fathers didn’t help out with bath time, meals and organising children’s activities. My own father had never changed a diaper or rocked any of us to sleep and I am sure that a tiny part of him regret missing out on those treasured moments of everyday life.
